ABOUT JUSALILTASTE SOUL FOOD

Growing up in San Francisco, Delaney Edmunds learned the secrets to good BBQ from his grandfather and uncles, and soul food from his grandmother. He turned his passion into a career when he opened Jusaliltaste in 2020. He uses his experience running pop-ups in his neighborhood to refine and expand his menu, learn how to market his business and himself and build a network of loyal customers.

ABOUT CITIZEN FILM AND BLACK ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Many black entrepreneurs in the Bay are committed to creating spaces that keep dollars in their neighborhoods and lift up their communities. Sharing powerful, authentic stories of these entrepreneurs’ work—their dreaming, striving, overcoming challenges and celebrating achievements—is essential to supporting their successes and to manifesting a collective, community-centered vision.

With the support of our partners at San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development and The Dream Keeper Initiative, Citizen Film collaborates with Black business owners to tell their stories in creative ways that make a community-building impact.
