“I’d had a pretty successful professional career, but I’d forgotten about my own personal development,” Avein Saaty-Tafoya, CEO of Adelante Healthcare, says of her decision to apply for the Piper Fellowship. In this video, Saaty-Tafoya reflects on her eight week sabbatical, during which she visited healthcare centers across the United States that are innovators in diverse design and practice, to learn how to merge service delivery transformation, hospitality, sustainability, and community.
